Important notice

Operating a wood burning stove inside a bell tent is dangerous. We hold no liability for harm or damages caused from wood burners being used inside your tent. The correct set up for a stove/ wood burner should be outside of your tent. Carbon monoxide is a silent killer. Wood burners should only be used in a well ventilated area with a working carbon monoxide alarm! This tent is fire retardant. The retardancy has been added to create an extra layer of protection from flames for a period of time. If the fabric is in contact with flames for long periods of time, the fabric may catch fire.     Yes, the BTV 4 XL is fire retardant to European safety standards. It is also Waterproof, UV and Mould resistant.

  2. 2.What does the tent come with?

    The tent comes in a handy carry bag including all the ropes, pegs, and poles needed for setup. 

  3. 3.Is the ground sheet built in?

    Yes, the ground sheet is built into BTV 4 XL. Each tent comes with a Rip Stop PVC 540GSM Zipped in ground sheet.

  4. 4.How much does the tent weigh?

    The BTV XL 4m with its accessories weigh approximately 39kg.
    The BTV XL 5mwith its accessories weigh approximately 51kg.
    The BTV XL 6m with its accessories weigh approximately 67kg.
    The BTV XL 7m with its accessories weigh approximately 79kg.
    The BTV XL 8m with its accessories weigh approximately 92kg.

    The BTV 4 XL comes in a beige sandstone colour.

    Yes, it has a built in stove hole made from fibreglass and has a built-in flap for when your stove is not in use. You will need a flashing kit  to the stove section. 

  7. 7.Can I roll up the sides of this tent?

    Of course, our tents are built to enable the sides to roll up by simply unzipping the groundsheet.
