3m ground sheet spot on just what was needed
The ground sheet is well made comes in a handy carry bag which is water proof. It’s challenging to find a 3m ground sheet so really pleased to have this purpose made size it will add to the protection of my 3m bell tent ground sheet.

I needed a new flooring for a geo dome, the groundsheet/coir was allowing water to run in and soak through the coir subsequently soaking the furniture on top. Switched to Kampa tiles with this carpet on top and it’s perfect, it’s so soft compared to coir so now the dog can sit anywhere and it’s much nicer on feet and bums. The latex backing being waterproof makes life much easier even if water got under it, it can’t wet the furniture. Top tip, don’t buy coir if you are starting fresh, just go straight for carpet. It’s a home from home.

Perfect flue connection
Purchase two of these bend angles to fit the flue from a stove through a shed side and then up the outside. They fit nice and snug and work perfectly.

Light to pack, folded easily. Easy to put up and linned up with windows on my tent. Much warmer and darker inside at night so kids were happy. Also allowed meto put the zips higher than my toddler so no escaping. Only think was the sides sagged too much so I attached hooks and loops to my tent further up. Now I just need two bouble airbeds that fit inside

Nikwax waterproofer
Brilliant! It saved my beloved 25 year old Dutch scout tent from being scrapped. It worked beautifully without nasty chemicals. So survived a thunderstorm and smelt pleasant to sleep in. I have loads left over too.

Cotton Canvas Waterproofing
I was disappointed as I had thought this would be a spray but it turned out to be a liquid which entailed washing the canvas cover and adding a portion to the wash. Not suitable to the need.

Worked great as i got a stained on my new bell tent and used a cleaner on it but i found it was not waterproof so i used this Cotton Canvas Waterproofing and if now is waterproof again. I got a spray bottle and put one part of Cotton Canvas Waterproofing to 9 parts of water and sprayed onto the part i wanted to waterproof and let it dry. I redone this 3 times and checked by putting water onto the area and it was 100% waterproofed again.Great job.

Application is very easy. I used it to re-proof my swag ( Australian bivvy bag) , a canvas rucksack and a pair of over trousers. Half a bottle did these items.

5mtr XL bell tent… WE LOVE IT
We looked at a few websites and knew we wanted a high sided bell tent and came across this beauty! Fell in love with it and knew what we could do to make it our own glamping haven. The quality is outstanding, robust and well designed. The BTV team are excellent and very good with keeping you up to date. Having the high sides gives you more room to put you sofa, bed and kitchenette further out to give you even more room, plus the higher opening for the front door is essential to save your back! Love it so much already, it’s like your own rustic canvas to put your own stamp on! Thank you BTV team.. hoping for lots of fun and great memories with our foster children xx

We’ve had a 4m Soul Pad (SP) bell tent for around 7 years, camping in France and at festivals, spreading the cost over use it’s now at less than 30p a night; it’s been well used. Now that the kids have left home, we’ve started to take longer holidays and really wanted more space, as well as ducking in and out of the tent was causing backaches. After some discussions with Lee at Bell Tent Village about door heights he recommended the 5m XL. It arrived yesterday and we took it to the local rec to put up. The first thing that struck us, is that it is heavy, really heavy, at 33kg, the SP was 10kg lighter. It arrived in a canvas bag, a bag for the poles, and a peg bag with pegs and a mallet. The pegs are really tough, I don’t think we’re going to be bending any of these soon. Opening it up, the construction, finish and attention to detail of the XL is way beyond the SP. The canvas is much heavier, and all the seams are taped, in the SP most were left rough cut and of variable size. There are loops and duffle coat style pegs for all the doors and windows, whereas in the SP some were missing and others were double sewn into the seam. Putting it up is straightforward, a one person job in about 15 mins. Once up, the XL is palatial. Whereas in our SP the bed just fitted between the centre pole and the wall, in the XL I can hardly touch them with my arms stretched. The best bit for us is that door is over 6 foot high making it easy to get through without bending. Looking forward to the holidays.

Only had the tent one week but we had it out last weekend. Well pleased with it so far. Has nice touches, the stove chimney hole, the zipped flap for ehu cable, some pocket pouches sewn onto the walls for keys, wallets, phones etc. Looks and feels like a quality product. The 2 metre door is excellent for me being that bit taller and if like us you attach an awning / tarp shelter onto the front door spike it means that is that bit higher as well. The real game changer tho is the extra high walls which give you so much more useable space inside.

These tents are super quality. Having already purchased XL 5m bell tents from Bell Tent Village, I was looking forward to receiving these and they did not disappoint! They are so grand inside and again the quality of the zips, stove hole, guy ropes etc are excellent. The service has always been efficient from Bell tent village, and so helpful. I am really pleased with my purchases and would recommend these tents to anybody both families and glampsites.

We are so happy with our tent! So happy in fact that we couldn’t wait for the holiday and spent a few nights in our garden. It was easy to set up, looks great and is very well constructed. The first day of use was around 30°c and the tent stayed cooler than previous polyester tents and at night it felt far cosier and more of an experience. Can’t wait to spend more time in it.

I have ordered to my home Ilulissat Greenland in the Arctic. And my new canvas tent arrive today by airplane. It's a good service by the company. I give it 5 stats. I will send pictures when it's ready to use. First in June it Will be summer here for 3 month.

Yeah really happy with the size as tent will only get used by 1 or 2 people max and I like the build quality, fact that some the tent pegs are rebar and the pegs and pole bags are also canvas helps. The customer service was great they replied almost immediately when they really didn't have to for problem I had. So yea if you looking for tent with high quality and competitive price I definitely would consider getting it here especially because customers service will lead you right with any problem. Also their duffle bag are worth checking out.
